My talk at the national Brain Injury Australia conference today went very well and I was able to share about the important roads being struck with A New You.
I also was overjoyed to interview the keynote speaker Dr Eve Valera from Massachusetts General Hospital who is leading groundbreaking and much overdue study into the effect of concussion in survivors of domestic violence. It is shocking to have taken this long to be ventured into as a salient study topic.
Then, my comrade in media was able to investigate possible lasting effects from his own head trauma when he was 11 years old with a brain scan newly arrived from Canada.
Followed by shots of one of the walls remaining from Adelaide Oval before it was massively remodelled and shots of the iconic ABC building in Collingwood, Adelaide.
